My Most Embarrassing Moment at School
Last month, I walked into the wrong classroom. Everyone stared at me. The teacher said, “Are you lost?” I felt my face turn red. Then I realized it was Class 1C, not 1A. I ran out so quickly that I dropped my pencil case. The whole class laughed. Now I always check the room number three times before going in. I still feel shy when I see that class in the hallway.
Listen to the short conversation (Teacher reads script twice).
Script for teacher:
Mary: Hi Tom, are you going to the school picnic?
Tom: Yes! It’s on Saturday, December 10th, from 10 am to 3 pm at Repulse Bay.
Mary: What should we bring?
Tom: Bring a water bottle, a hat, and your own lunch. The school provides drinks.
Mary: Can I bring my phone?
Tom: Yes, but no video games. We’ll play beach volleyball and sandcastle building.
Mary: Great! See you there.
