If you launch a game and see a black screen, followed by a return to EmulationStation:

Using Synchronize (Batocera’s netplay feature) for Type X games is experimental but works for SFIV if both systems have identical game dumps. Set NetplayEnable Netplay before launch.


If you have a Batocera build (v35 or higher recommended), here is the workflow. taito type x batocera

1. Locate the proper ROMs You need the "Type X" dumps. These usually come as a folder (not a .zip) containing the game.exe, data folders, and a typex_loader.exe or similar. Look for titles like sfiv (Street Fighter IV) or homura (Homura).
