So you have a mod file (usually a .zip, .7z, or .dll). How do you install it?

Step 1: Locate your HS2 Root Folder

Step 2: Identify Mod Type

Step 3: Extract & Place Use 7-Zip to extract the archive. Do not extract entire zip files into the mods folder; look inside. If you see a [modname] folder containing a manifest.xml, drop the whole folder into mods\. If you see a .dll, drop it into plugins\. The BetterRepack and STN full packs are distributed

Step 4: Run KKManager Always run KKManager after adding 5+ mods. Click "Check for updates" and "Scan for conflicts". It will color-code conflicts (red = bad; yellow = warning).
