Open the casing of your HEX-V2 clone. Inspect the PCB. Look for cold solder joints or burnt components. If the board looks physically damaged, no amount of firmware will fix it.
Disconnect the programmer, plug the interface into your PC via USB. Windows should detect it as a "Ross-Tech HEX-V2" (or similar). Open the VCDS software and run a system test.
