Zk-pp2k | Manual
Before diving into the button sequences, let’s review the hardware specifications.
The ZK-PP2K is a digitally controlled buck (step-down) converter. This means the output voltage must always be lower than the input voltage. It features a rotary encoder for navigation and a 0.96-inch OLED display.

The Zk-pp2k does not work stand-alone for payroll. It must communicate with ZKTeco’s PC software: ZKTime 5.0, BioTime 8.0, or third-party software via SDK. The manual assumes you use ZKTime. Zk-pp2k Manual
Upon powering on, the device will emit a beep and display a boot logo. After approximately 30 seconds, you will see the “Ready” or “Time & Date” screen. If you see a “No User” message, that is normal.
1. Improving Accuracy (The "Remote Sense" Mod) Stock modules measure voltage at the terminal block. If you have long wires, voltage drops. Solder thin wires from the output terminal directly to the voltage sense resistor pad on the PCB for true regulation at the load. Before diving into the button sequences, let’s review
2. Using it as a LED Driver The ZK-PP2K is excellent for high-power LEDs (e.g., 100W COB LED).
3. Firmware Updates Older versions of the ZK-PP2K have a "Menu" button; newer ones use the encoder. There is no official consumer firmware update tool, so if your menu looks different from this manual, check your specific hardware version (V1.1, V2.0, V3.0). What’s in the box (Usually):
