Vub Psychologie Programma -

One of the most distinctive features of studying Psychology at the VUB is the "Kiespunten" (Choice Points) system within the Dutch-taught Bachelor. Starting from the second year, students are given a certain number of points they can "spend" on elective courses.

This allows students to tailor their degree to their interests immediately—whether that involves taking extra courses in neuroscience, broadening their horizon with a language, or diving deeper into statistics. This flexibility ensures that no two psychology students graduate with the exact same transcript.

VUB has a strong reputation in biological psychology and neuroscience. For students interested in the biological underpinnings of behavior—how the brain processes emotion, memory, or how neurodegenerative diseases affect cognition—the VUB is an ideal choice. vub psychologie programma

The university has close ties with the UZ Brussel (University Hospital), allowing for research opportunities and internships in a clinical setting. This bridge between theoretical psychology and medical application is a major asset of the program.
