Vmix 27 Full
With the release of vMix 27, the Full version now supports AV1 encoding via Intel Arc and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs. For streamers, this means 50% bandwidth reduction compared to H.264 for the same visual quality. In a 4K streaming environment, this lowers CDN costs and allows you to stream high-fidelity video over limited upload speeds.
While cheaper versions limit recording, vMix 27 Full allows you to record every input separately (ISO) simultaneously. With MultiCorder v2 in v27, you can record up to 4K on 20+ cameras while simultaneously streaming the master output. This is a non-negotiable feature for post-production editors.

For the first time, vMix could act as a native receiver for browser-based streams. This meant that with a simple browser link, a remote guest could send their video and audio directly to vMix with sub-second latency.
However, the real magic of vMix 27’s implementation was its compatibility with major platforms. By embracing open standards, vMix 27 allowed users to bring in feeds from services that were previously "walled gardens." Sports broadcasters rejoice
The workflow became revolutionary:
This feature alone saved thousands of dollars in hardware and countless hours of technical troubleshooting. It bridged the gap between the consumer ease of Zoom and the professional control of vMix.
Historically, audio routing was a pain point. In vMix 27 Full, you can now create Audio Track Groups for complex live mixing. You can route cameras to "Group A" (Commentary) and background music to "Group B" (Stream Mix) while sending a completely different mix to the auditorium speakers. The new Master Bus gives you broadcast-quality limiting and compression on every output.
