For live performers, the Vedh rack includes macros mapped specifically for Push controllers.

Traditional hi-hats produce a "chick" or "sizzle." The Vedh hi-hats are thinner, unlathed cymbals that produce a bell-like ting when closed. This mimics the manjira (small hand cymbals used in Bhajans). The open hat sound is designed to decay quickly so it doesn't clash with the fast kanjira fingers.
