“In Adi Parvan, Jarāsandha has 2 births. In Sabha Parvan, only 1 death. The missing birth-death interval is vasparvan-s account. #Parvan_I #Knot”

“Bhīma’s 7th day rage against Duryodhana is not in critical edition. It exists only in a single Malayalam manuscript marginal note. That note is vasparvan-s property. #Parvan_VI #Rift”

“If you total all ‘and then they fought for many days’ phrases across Parvans 6-9, the war becomes 23 days. Who owns the extra 5 days? Check vasparvan-s ledger. #TimeTheft” vasparvan-s Account

The most striking aspect of Vasparvan's Account is his deterministic fatalism. He argues that the outcome of Kurukshetra is already written on the forehead of every warrior at birth.

"Bhishma cannot be killed by a weapon, but he will choose to die. Drona cannot be defeated in combat, but he will lay down his arms when his son is shamed. Karna is a king without a throne. Their fates are sealed. If we send ten million Asuras, we cannot change the script. We will only add corpses to the pyre." Post 1 “In Adi Parvan, Jarāsandha has 2 births

This is a direct inversion of the Gita’s teaching. Where Krishna says, "You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action," Vasparvan says, "Even your duty is an illusion. The fruit is already decided. Do not waste your army."
