This is a gray area. Vandread has never been officially localized or re-released on modern storefronts (GOG, Steam, PSN). The game is considered "Abandonware" – software no longer sold or supported by its publisher (Gonzo/Bandai). The VF Repack exists solely for game preservation and archival purposes.
Ethical gamer’s note: If the copyright holders ever release an official HD remaster, you should purchase that copy immediately. In the meantime, the VF Repack keeps the spirit of the Nirvana ship alive.
