Transformers (2007) follows Sam Witwicky, a teenager who buys his first car—only to discover it is Bumblebee, an alien robot from the planet Cybertron. The film masterfully blends teen comedy, military action, and science fiction. Its dialogue ranges from fast-paced banter (Sam’s parents teasing him) to technical jargon (“Allspark,” “energon cubes,” “protoforms”). Without subtitles, non-English speakers lose these layers.
7/10 – It’s not deep cinema, but as a summer blockbuster, it delivers exactly what it promises: giant robots punching each other with military hardware. A fun, noisy reboot that respects the core mythology (Autobots vs. Decepticons) while adding Bay’s signature bombast.
