The band continued to perform and might have released more music post-2017, though major discographical releases seem to culminate around the 2011 studio album About Time.

By 2014, fans thought Ten Years After was finished. Original drummer Ric Lee, bassist Leo Lyons, and keyboardist Chick Churchill were still active, but without Alvin Lee (who died in 2013), they refused to call it a reunion.

For years, fans traded poor audience recordings. The “fix” came when a 2016 legal review found that the BBC had not erased 14 sessions from 1968–1971. These appear on the 2017 BBC Sessions – properly pitch-corrected (unlike the 1998 bootleg).
The band broke up in 1974. Alvin Lee went solo. From 1975 to 1988, there were only compilations. The only “official” releases are:
This is the golden era. The official studio output is clean and straightforward. No "fix" needed for the music itself, but note the bonus tracks on the 2010s reissues.
