Lilu - Ss

There was a small Italian steamer named SS Leoluca (approx. 500 tons), but it was a minor coastal vessel with no significant historical footprint compared to the Lulworth Hill.


The most romanticized version of the SS Lilu comes from Polynesian trading records. Initially built as a three-masted schooner, she was retrofitted with a compound steam engine in 1905.
