If you already have a serial number but it isn't working, try these steps: 

Deactivate Old Hardware: If you changed computers, log into your MAGIX account and deactivate the software on the old device before trying to register it on the new one.

Check Firewalls: Sometimes security software blocks the connection to the MAGIX registration server; try temporarily disabling your firewall during activation.
