      Pros:

      Cons:

Do you have PCSA00068 in your Vita collection? Are you still waiting for Sly 5? Let us know in the comments below! Sly Cooper - Thieves in Time -PCSA00068- -NTSC-

The code PCSA00068 identifies the North American (NTSC) version of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

for the PlayStation Vita. Released in February 2013, it is the fourth installment in the series and the first developed by Sanzaru Games. Game Summary

The story picks up after Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. When the pages of the Thievius Raccoonus (the Cooper family's ancient book of master thievery) begin to disappear, Bentley realizes someone is erasing the Cooper legacy from history. Sly and the gang must travel through time to rescue Sly's ancestors and recover the lost pages. Key Features Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time – Release Details - GameFAQs

Final jump: Ancient Egypt. The last known Cooper ancestor is “Slytunkhamen” Cooper III (ancestor of the first Slytunkhamen who invented the Cooper Cane). The villain is Le Paradox, the mastermind behind everything. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a game

Le Paradox is a French-accented, top-hat-wearing, cane-wielding toad. He is the son of Clockwerk’s old enemy, and he resents the Cooper legacy. His goal: erase the Coopers from history to make his own father’s thieving legacy supreme. He has captured Sly’s friends and uses a giant obelisk-powered time portal to erase the entire Cooper line at its source.

Sly fights through a pyramid and a massive airship battle. Le Paradox reveals he has Carmelita under his control via a brainwashing headset. Sly refuses to fight her, instead breaking the headset. The final confrontation is a one-on-one cane duel on the wings of Le Paradox’s time-traveling airship above the Nile.

The writing retains the witty, cartoon-caper vibe of the original trilogy. Each time period (feudal Japan, medieval England, ancient Arabia, etc.) introduces a new Cooper ancestor with unique abilities. Voice acting is excellent, with original cast members returning. The animated cutscenes look crisp on the Vita’s OLED/LCD screen, though pre-rendered scenes show compression artifacts.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (2013) serves as a direct sequel to Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. The title ID PCSA00068 specifically designates the North American NTSC version for the PlayStation Vita. The game is historically significant as the first major franchise installment not developed by the series creators, Sucker Punch Productions. Instead, Sanzaru Games, who had previously ported the original trilogy to the PS3, took the helm. This transition raised questions regarding stylistic fidelity and mechanical integrity, which the game addresses through a faithful adherence to the "Toon-shaded" aesthetic and comic-book presentation of its predecessors. Do you have PCSA00068 in your Vita collection

The first thing purists noticed when Thieves in Time launched was the absence of Sucker Punch (the original creators) in the developer chair. Handing the keys to Sanzaru Games was a risk, but PCSA00068 proves it was a calculated one.

Sanzaru didn't try to reinvent the wheel; they polished it. The game retains the cell-shaded aesthetic that makes Sly timeless, but with updated character models and smoother animations. Whether you are playing on the PS3 or taking the NTSC Vita version on the go, the game looks stunning. The comic-book cutscenes are vibrant, and the character designs for Sly’s ancestors are distinct and memorable.

The Vita3K emulator on PC has made significant strides. To run PCSA00068:

For trophy hunters, PCSA00068 offers a single stack (the trophies are separate from the PS3 version). The platinum trophy, "Master Thief," requires approximately 25-30 hours.
