Sims 4 mods almost always download as .zip, .rar, or .7z files. The game cannot read these compressed files; it only reads folders and package files. You will need a program to extract them.
Extract the downloaded mod:
⚠️ Do not put script files more than one folder deep in Mods.
Example:

Some modders allow one subfolder (like Mods/DBZ/) for script files — check the mod’s description.
But to be safe, place .ts4script directly in Mods or in Mods/DBZ (if author says OK).
