Sega Model 3 Emulator Android — New

For those who hate independent launchers, the RetroArch Supermodel core has received a quiet update in the "Stable Nightlies" (version 1.17.0+). However, installation is finicky.

I tested the latest build (Supermodel build 0124) on a OnePlus 12 (16GB RAM, Adreno 750). Here is the "new" reality: sega model 3 emulator android new

For years, Sega’s Model 3 arcade hardware was considered the "Holy Grail" of emulation. Released in 1996, it powered some of the most visually stunning and technically demanding games of the era—Virtua Fighter 3, Daytona USA 2, Scud Race, and Star Wars Trilogy Arcade.

While PC users have enjoyed near-perfect Model 3 emulation via Supermodel for years, Android users have largely been left in the cold. Old builds were buggy, slow, or required side-loading risky APKs.

That changes now. A new wave of development has hit the Android scene, making portable Model 3 gaming a reality.
