If you want to run a PS4 PKG ROM on a portable device, you have two primary methods.

This is the true "portable" experience. You treat your PS4 game like a PC game.
Step 1: Acquire/Dump your PKG.
You need a jailbroken PS4 (Firmware 9.00 or 11.00). Use dumping tools like dumpTool to rip your game disc to an FPKG file. Disclaimer: This guide is for educational purposes
Step 2: Extract the PKG.
Your portable device cannot run the .pkg installer directly. You need a PC tool called pkg2zip (or fake_pkg_extract). Run this command in your terminal:
pkg2zip game.pkg
This extracts the game into a folder containing eboot.bin (the executable) and all assets.
Step 3: Configure shadPS4 on your Handheld.
Download the latest shadPS4 release. Place your extracted game folder into the game directory within the emulator's root folder. ⚠️ External drive encrypted to one console only
Step 4: Optimize settings. For a Steam Deck, set GPU clock to 1600Mhz. For an ROG Ally, enable FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) to upscale 720p to 1080p. Many PS4 games were locked to 30 FPS; use the "Unlock FPS" patches available via shadPS4 mods.
