A 2004 action-adventure classic, darker and more combat-heavy than Sands of Time. Known for:
Don’t want the heavy metal soundtrack? Uncheck it. Don’t need 5.1 surround sound? Skip it. Don’t speak Italian? Don’t download the dub.
This is a massive win for users with data caps or slow connections. You literally build your own light version.

Reading time: 4 minutes prince of persia warrior within dodi repack better
If you grew up in the mid-2000s, you remember the shift. After the fairy-tale vibes of The Sands of Time, Warrior Within hit us with heavy metal, blood, and the relentless Dahaka. It was edgy, brutal, and absolutely brilliant.
But let’s be real: Getting this classic to run smoothly on Windows 10 or 11 is a nightmare. Crashes. Controller issues. No widescreen. That’s where DODI Repacks comes in.
After testing three different versions, I can say with confidence: The DODI Repack of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is better. Don’t want the heavy metal soundtrack
Here’s why.
Yes. If you own the original game, you have the moral right to download the DODI Repack. It removes 20-year-old technical barriers.
Warning: Always scan repacks with Malwarebytes. While DODI is a reputable scene group, only download from their official .site domain or verified torrents to avoid fake malware. Technically, Ubisoft still sells Warrior Within on GOG
No other repack does this. Dodi integrated specific mods that make Warrior Within feel like a native 2024 game:
Technically, Ubisoft still sells Warrior Within on GOG and Steam (though the Steam version is a mess). However, Ubisoft has officially delisted the Prince of Persia franchise from active support; there are no patches coming.
Many argue that downloading a repack for a 20-year-old game that Ubisoft refuses to fix is "Abandonware." From a preservation standpoint, Dodi’s repack is objectively better because it keeps the game playable on modern machines. If you own a legal license (physical disc or digital key), using the Dodi repack for the fixes is legally a gray area but morally justifiable for utility.
XInput (Xbox One/Series/360 controllers) does not work natively with the 2004 executable. Dodi bundles Xidi (a modern XInput wrapper) pre-configured. Plug in your controller, and the prompts work immediately. No spending 3 hours in x360ce.
