Unlike free home-lab software, Palo Alto Networks operates on a licensed model. To download VM images legally and with access to the latest features, you generally need two things:

Go to https://support.paloaltonetworks.com and enter your credentials.

Solution: Your support contract has expired. Palo Alto hides all software downloads for contracts that are not current. You cannot download any image (even old ones) without an active maintenance subscription. You must renew your support contract.

For AWS, Azure, or GCP, you typically do not download the image. Instead, you deploy directly from the cloud marketplace, and the image is managed by the cloud provider. palo alto download vm image
