OtsAV DJ Pro isn't limited to audio. It is a fully-fledged visual mixing tool.
In the mid-to-late 2000s, the DJ software market was bifurcated. On one side stood AtomixMP3/Virtual DJ, prioritizing accessibility and a vast feature set. On the other, Traktor and Serato were building ecosystems around hardware control. In the shadows, a niche contender called OtsAV commanded a cult following. Version 1.90 (circa 2006–2007) represents the peak of OtsLabs’ original vision: a software that prioritized audio fidelity, seamless harmonic mixing, and stability over visual waveforms and gimmicks.
The interface of OtsAV DJ Pro 1.90 retains the classic "rack-mount" aesthetic. While it may look less "flashy" than modern touchscreen-optimized competitors like Serato or Rekordbox, it is designed for functionality.
