We polled 500 players on the Discord. Here is the feedback:

"The cooldown on tags is annoying at first, but it stops people from running away the whole match. You actually have to learn neutral."@FightcadeRandy

"I hate the 60% cap. If I land a raw Shin Shoryuken, I should kill. But I guess it makes 5v5 last longer than 30 seconds."@SNK_Forever

"Finally, Omega Tom Hanks can’t just zone out five characters in a row. Thank you, patch upd!"@Mugen_Veteran_99

Based on 50+ community matches played on the patch’s first weekend, here is an early tier list snapshot:

| Tier | Characters | | :--- | :--- | | S+ (God) | Super Shaggy (Ultra Instinct), Alien Homelander, Anchor Dan (yes, really) | | S (Top) | Omni-Man, Goku Black (Rose), Sephiroth | | A (Strong) | Ryu (Evil), Iori Yagami, Darth Vader | | B (Balanced) | Most of the cast | | C (Weak) | Classic Megaman, Phoenix Wright (still struggling) | We polled 500 players on the Discord

| Tier | Characters (Examples) | Reason | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | S-Tier | Shin Akuma, Rugal (CvS2), God Rugal | High damage bypasses scaling; multi-supers still effective. | | A-Tier | Ryu (Warzard), Iori (XIII), Morrigan | Great chip damage and safe tag-out options. | | B-Tier | KFM, Mario, Sonic | Balanced but lack comeback mechanics. | | C-Tier | Heavy zoners (e.g., Deadpool, Strange) | Tag cooldown hurts their keep-away game. |

Biggest Loser: Any character with a single infinite combo (e.g., Roll Cancel BB Hood). The 60% damage cap has made them irrelevant.

Biggest Winner: Grapplers (Zangief, Potemkin). Their command grabs ignore scaling and now deal near-true damage. "The cooldown on tags is annoying at first,
