With only three episodes left in Season 3, Episode 7 has successfully:
With Kaleen Bhaiya believed to be dead and the Tripathi lineage effectively ended, Guddu and Golu finally sit on the throne of Mirzapur. However, the victory feels hollow.
The episode’s centerpiece is a 25-minute continuous sequence set inside the Pandit household during a torrential downpour. Present: Guddu, Golu, Dimpy (now a reluctant war strategist), and Radhe (Guddu’s loyal, increasingly horrified lieutenant).
The group is debating their next move. Golu argues for a pre-dawn strike on Sharad’s armory. Guddu refuses. Dimpy, surprisingly, suggests they surrender politically and fight through the courts.
The Argument:
Golu: "You’ve become weak. Bauji didn’t raise a coward."
Guddu: "Bauji is dead. And so is every part of me that wanted this throne."
Radhe interrupts: "Sir, the men are asking... what are we fighting for now? Revenge? Or just habit?" Mirzapur Season 3 - Episode 7
This line hangs in the air. The room falls silent. For the first time, the foot soldiers’ disillusionment is voiced. Guddu has no answer.
Then, a knock. A young boy delivers a chit—from Kaleen Bhaiya. Guddu reads it. The camera doesn’t show the contents, only Guddu’s face shifting from exhaustion to cold fury. He looks at Golu and says: "We burn the field."
In a parallel scene, Beena Tripathi visits the hospital where Madhuri lies unconscious. She removes the bodyguard, sits by the bed, and speaks softly. She confesses that she arranged for the temple to be a trap—not for Sharad, but for both Sharad and Guddu. She wanted them to destroy each other.
But she miscalculated. Now, she tells the comatose Madhuri, she will finish what she started. She injects something into Madhuri’s IV—not poison, but a drug that will keep her under for two more weeks. Long enough for Beena to seize control of Madhuri’s political machinery.
Her monologue ends with: "You wanted a queen of Mirzapur? You’re looking at her." With only three episodes left in Season 3,
Fans expecting a shootout every ten minutes might be disappointed by Episode 7. The violence here is surgical. The episode features only two major violent sequences, but both are devastating.
Sequence 1: Sharad Shukla’s men ambush a Yadav convoy on the Mirzapur-Varanasi highway. Unlike the chaotic gunfights of previous seasons, this one is slow and methodical. Sharad walks through the smoke, personally executing every guard with a single shot to the head. The brutality serves a narrative purpose: it announces that Sharad is back in the game.
Sequence 2: The episode ends with a cliffhanger. Just as Golu is about to publicly announce Madhuri as her candidate, the lights go out in the village hall. When they flicker back on, Madhuri is gone, and two of Golu’s guards are dead on the floor. A note is left behind, written in blood: "Elections are for the living." It is J.P. Yadav’s calling card.
No discussion of Mirzapur Season 3 - Episode 7 is complete without addressing Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal). This episode gives her the most screentime she has had all season.
Beena has been playing the long game. Now the official guardian of Munna’s son (and heir), she uses this leverage to broker a secret deal with the Bajpais. In a brilliant sequence set during a funeral (a recurring motif in Mirzapur), Beena meets with Bhati’s widow. For the first six episodes, Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj
She doesn't ask for money or power. She asks for information—specifically, the location of J.P. Yadav’s illegal arms stockpile. Beena has realized that the men are too busy fighting over thrones; it is the women who control the secrets. By the end of Episode 7, Beena has a dossier that could bring down the entire Uttar Pradesh government. Rasika Dugal’s performance here is chilling—soft-spoken but radiating lethal intent.
Here is useful content regarding Mirzapur Season 3, Episode 7 (titled “Tumhare Muh Mein Ghee Shakkar”), including a synopsis, key events, and character developments.
For the first six episodes, Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) has been a wounded animal—limping, grieving, and stripped of his empire. Episode 7 is where we see the first flickers of the old Akhandanand Tripathi.
Currently imprisoned (or under house arrest) by the Yadavs, Kaleen Bhaiya spends most of Mirzapur Season 3 - Episode 7 in a single room. But it is a masterclass in restrained acting. Pankaj Tripathi barely raises his voice. Instead, he uses silence as a weapon.
In one pivotal scene, he is visited by J.P. Yadav’s henchman, who demands that Kaleen sign over his legal rights to the Mirzapur territory. Kaleen refuses. The henchman reminds him that his son (Munna) is dead and his brother (Ramakant) is a fugitive. Kaleen replies with a line that will become iconic: "Sher kabhi apni hadd nahi maanta, insaan uski hadd maanta hai" (A tiger never knows its limits; only a man does).
He then reveals that he has been secretly communicating with Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) via a corrupt jailer. This alliance—Kaleen and Sharad—is the episode’s biggest shocker. Sharad, who was once Munna’s rival and is the son of the slain Ram Shukla, agrees to a temporary truce. Why? Because both men want to kill J.P. Yadav more than they hate each other.
