Before digging into system files, rule out the obvious:

Before you call your reseller, have this information ready:
Hardware failure: Dongles can die from electrostatic discharge (ESD) or physical damage. CNC Software typically charges a replacement fee (waived if you have active maintenance).
Corrupted license container: In rare cases, the license inside the dongle becomes corrupt. A reseller can remotely re-license the dongle using a WibuCmRau file. Do not throw the dongle away – this is fixable.
As a last resort, the license pointers in the Windows Registry may be corrupted. WARNING: Editing the registry can break your OS. Back up first.
