Windows has a 260-character path limit. If your user profile name is long (e.g., C:\Users\Antoine de Saint-Exupéry\...), TecDoc may fail to write temporary files.
Fix:
Include tecdoc_config.sample.json in your repo with dummy values and comments.
Right-click the TecDoc shortcut and select Run as administrator. This bypasses file permission issues.
Temporarily disable:
Then launch TecDoc again. If it works, add TecDoc’s entire installation folder to your antivirus’s exclusion list.
