For most adults, the initial dose of Licdom Release is 2 mg to 4 mg once daily, preferably taken at bedtime. This is to mitigate initial drowsiness.
Before LICDOM:
The company faced a $2.1M true-up penalty from a major software vendor due to under-licensed database servers. Separately, they lost a critical .com domain because the renewal notice went to a former employee.
After LICDOM release:
Within 45 days, LICDOM identified 12 unused high-value licenses (saving $89k/year), flagged 8 domains expiring in under 90 days, and automated renewal reminders across three registrars.
Special thanks to all contributors who helped test, document, and improve Licdom.
The licdom release is available starting May 15, 2026, in three tiers:
A free 30-day trial is available with full v2.0 features, no credit card required.
licdom scan --path ./project --policy strict.yaml --output report.html
For more examples, see the User Guide.
Depending on tolerability and response, the dose may be increased after 1 to 2 weeks to 4 mg twice daily (every 12 hours). Some patients with severe spasticity (e.g., from spinal cord injury) may require up to 8 mg twice daily, but doses exceeding 24 mg per day (combined total) have not shown superior efficacy and significantly increase adverse event rates.
While Licdom Release is generally well-tolerated, the modified formulation does not eliminate side effects entirely. It simply redistributes their intensity.
