A "free license" is not an unlimited enterprise license. To keep the lights on, iSpLever restricts a few key areas:
❌ No Parallel Processing – The free version runs tasks sequentially. For multi-threaded or high-volume jobs, you’ll need a paid upgrade. ❌ Single User Mode – Only one local user account. No team collaboration or role-based access. ❌ Limited Export Formats – You can export to CSV/JSON, but not to proprietary or encrypted formats. ❌ No Commercial Redistribution – You can use it internally, but you cannot embed the free version into a product you sell.
Launch Project Navigator within ispLEVER Classic. Go to Help -> About. It should read "License Type: Free" or "Node-Locked, Perpetual."
Surprisingly, some users report success by emailing the current iSplever support team. While they no longer sell Classic licenses, they sometimes provide a free, read-only license for data migration purposes. Send a polite request to legacy@isplever.com stating:
They have no obligation to help, but several forum threads confirm sporadic positive responses.
Run the installer as administrator. Choose a typical installation. You will be prompted for a license during or after installation—skip this initially.
Security Note: Because iSpLever Classic is no longer under active development for the free tier, always run it on an isolated workstation or VM if handling sensitive scripts.
