Q: Can I use my Intronics digital thermostat with a heat pump?
A: Only if the model specifically says “Heat Pump compatible” (look for O/B terminal). Standard models work only with conventional gas/oil boilers.

Q: Why does my thermostat turn on/off too frequently?
A: This is called short cycling. Increase the hysteresis (advanced setting) from 0.5°C to 1°C or 1.5°C. Refer to your specific manual for “CPH” (cycles per hour) adjustment.

Q: How do I know if my Intronics thermostat is line-voltage or low-voltage?
A: Line-voltage (120-240V) has thick red/black wires and says “max 16A.” Low-voltage (24V) has thin multi-colored wires. If unsure, consult an electrician.

Q: The backlight stays on all night. Is this normal?
A: Most models have a backlight that turns on for 10 seconds after a button press. If it stays on, you may have a “continuous backlight” setting enabled. Turn it off in advanced menu (look for “BL” or “LIGHT”).
