Step 1 – Pair the watch Open the DaFit app. Go to "Device" > "Add device." Select "Hk8 Pro Max." Ensure Bluetooth is on and the watch is not paired to any other phone.

Step 2 – Navigate to Firmware Once paired, tap the device avatar at the top of the DaFit homepage. Scroll until you see "Firmware Update" or "Version Update."

Step 3 – Check for new version Tap "Check for updates." The app will ping the manufacturer’s server. If a new version is available, you will see a changelog (e.g., "Fixes ECG display error").

Step 4 – Start the download Tap "Download." A .dfu or .zip file will download to your phone’s local storage. This takes 1-3 minutes.

Step 5 – Transmit to watch The app will begin transferring the file to your Hk8 Pro Max via Bluetooth. Do not touch the watch screen. You will see a progress bar on the watch showing "Updating..." Hk8 Pro Max Firmware Update

Step 6 – Automatic reboot After 5-10 minutes, the watch will vibrate and reboot. You will see the Hk8 Pro Max logo. Do not interact with it for another 2 minutes.
