Upd — Halls Of The Pale Widow

Before you can defeat the boss, you must survive the level. The Halls of the Pale Widow UPD changed the layout of the pre-boss gauntlet.

The Halls of the Pale Widow UPD added three new lore tablets hidden behind illusory walls. The story is no longer speculative. The Pale Widow was originally Lady Elara Voss, a noble who married a frost giant to end a war. When her husband died, the kingdom trapped her in the halls to freeze forever. Because Remnant 2 uses procedural generation, the Halls do not always spawn. However, based on the latest spawn logic: Pro Tip (New in UPD): If you reroll

Pro Tip (New in UPD): If you reroll your Adventure Mode, the Halls have a 60% chance to spawn if you select "One Shot" vs. 30% in standard Adventure.

The "Pale Widow's Web" is a key item receptacle (similar to the Nightweaver's Web in the base game). The UPD: The web now correctly prioritizes Quest Items over Consumables. Previously, trying to feed the web an item like the Kolket’s Razor would sometimes fail. This is now patched, making the farm for the Anguish gun significantly less frustrating.
