Google Chrome 105 Offline Installer

Cause: You have an existing newer version of Chrome installed. The offline installer for 105 refuses to downgrade.

Fix: Uninstall your current Chrome completely. Back up your bookmarks first (go to chrome://bookmarks > Export). Then run the Chrome 105 offline installer.

Once you have the legitimate ChromeSetup.exe (or similarly named file) for version 105, follow these steps.

Prerequisites: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, or 11 (64-bit or 32-bit). Chrome 105 no longer supports Windows XP or Vista.
