The modding community is constantly updating the Godzilla Morph Addon. Recent 2024-2025 updates have added Evolution paths (you start as a 10-foot Zilla Jr. and grow by eating radiation orbs) and Synergy with the "Radiation" mod (where nuclear waste heals you).

At its core, the Godzilla Morph Addon (most popularly associated with the Morph Mod by iChun or standalone addons based on the Fabric/Forge API) is a transformation tool. Unlike traditional mods that spawn Godzilla as a hostile mob, this addon allows the player to absorb Godzilla’s DNA and physically morph into the King of the Monsters.
Depending on the specific version you download (there are several iterations, including the popular "Godzilla Morph Addon for MCPE" and Java editions), you will be able to transform into various versions of the character, ranging from the classic Showa era to the towering, spike-shouldered Legendary/Monsterverse Godzilla.
Because the Godzilla Morph Addon requires rendering a massive entity and destroying hundreds of blocks per minute, it can be taxing.
This version is triggered when you take too much fire damage or use a special item (like the "Meltdown Core"). Your skin cracks with orange lava. Your Atomic Breath turns red and leaves lingering radiation clouds. Warning: This version often has a time limit before you explode.
