Filmyhitcom 2020 2021 May 2026

The site obtained content via:

Production houses like Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, and Sun Pictures began obtaining dynamic injunctions. These court orders allowed authorities to block not just filmyhitcom but any future domain the operators created.

One major blow came in late 2021. FilmyHit used Cloudflare to hide its origin server. After repeated complaints from the MPA, Cloudflare terminated the account, exposing the actual hosting provider (often located in the Netherlands or Russia). This led to intermittent downtime.

By December 2021, the original filmyhitcom domain was dead. However, clones like filmyhit.ws and filmyhit.net appeared.

Because Filmyhit was illegal, internet service providers (ISPs) and governments continuously blocked the primary domain (filmyhit.com). To survive, the operators of the site used a tangled web of proxy servers, VPNs, and mirror links (e.g., filmyhit.in, filmyhit.net, filmyhit.pro). Users were forced to navigate these sketchy proxy sites, which doubled their exposure to phishing scams.
