Festo Fluidsim Change Language

  • The final Target should look like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Festo Didactic\FluidSIM 5\FluidSIM5.exe" /L EN
  • Click OK and launch FluidSIM using that shortcut.

    • Note: This does not permanently install the language pack; it merely launches the software with English resources if they exist on the drive. If the files are missing, nothing will change.

  • Select English (or your desired language).
  • A warning may appear: "The program must be restarted for the changes to take effect."
  • Click OK, then close and reopen FluidSIM.

    • Troubleshooting: If "Language" does not appear inside Options, you have a single-language version. Proceed to Method 2 or 3.

    Warning: Incorrectly editing the registry can harm your system. Proceed only if you are comfortable with this tool.

    Step 1: Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter. The final Target should look like: "C:\Program Files

    Step 2: Navigate to the following key (if it exists): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Festo\FluidSIM\

    Step 3: Look for a string value named Language or UILanguage. Note: This does not permanently install the language

    Step 4: Double-click it and change the value data to:

    Step 5: Click OK and close the Registry Editor. Restart Fluidsim.
