Fix: This usually means the config file didn't save. Close the program, right-click the shortcut, and select "Run as Administrator" one time to let it write the default settings.ini file. facetracknoir v201 install
Problem: Tracking is super jittery. Fix: v201 is older and doesn't have the advanced smoothing of the newer FaceTrackNoIR or OpenTrack. Go to the Filter settings and increase the "Smoothing" slider to roughly 40-50%.
Problem: It doesn't work in Prepar3D v4/v5.
Fix: v201 was built for FSX and early P3D. It generally works via the "SimConnect" interface, but you may need to manually place the FaceTrackNoIR.dll into your P3D modules folder and add it to your dll.xml file manually. For modern sims, upgrading to OpenTrack is usually recommended, but if you love v201, manual module injection is required.
