If you are worried about someone’s safety (e.g., a friend showing signs of depression or a relative being scammed), use Facebook’s “Report” feature or contact Meta’s safety team. They can review the profile internally.
Sometimes, limited information from a private profile is indexed by search engines. Try:

This might reveal public mentions, tagged posts (if the tagger has a public profile), or cached pages.
The simplest method. If they accept, you’ll see everything they share with friends.
Sometimes, friends of friends or comments on public posts reveal limited insights. But this is not a “viewer” – it’s just manual searching.
Since fake “viewers” target curious people, you should also secure your own profile:
✅ Set past posts to “Friends” or “Only Me”
✅ Disable search engines linking to your profile
✅ Review “Profile and Tagging” settings
✅ Turn off “Friends of friends” for sensitive info
✅ Regularly check “Logged-in devices” in Settings
If someone claims they can view your private profile using iStaunch or any other tool, they are lying – but you should still stay vigilant.
All Facebook data—posts, photos, friends lists—is stored on Facebook’s servers. When you set your profile to private, Facebook’s servers simply refuse to send that data to anyone not on your friends list. A third-party tool cannot “trick” Facebook’s servers into sending data because the server checks identity with every request.
