  • Click “Apply” and “Save As” – rename to Ember.2016.MANUAL.FIX.srt.
  • The most common complaint about the 2016 original subtitles is that they fall apart during the 78-minute mark (the cave scene). The UPD Fix resolves this by re-timing the frame rate from 23.976fps to 25fps.

    When you download the file titled Ember.2016.720p.BluRay.x264.ENG-UPD.srt, check the following properties:

    Open your video in VLC Media Player. Go to Tools → Codec Information. Look at the Length field.

    If your subtitle file is made for the theatrical cut but you have the director’s cut, you will need to retime it.
