Many users fail here. Older guides tell you to paste into the LIBRARY folder. For Proteus 8.9 and newer, the software caches libraries. You must also load them manually.

Drop your new .LIB and .IDX files into that folder. If you also have a .MODEL file, drop it into the MODELS folder.
