Even with the perfect repack, you might hit walls. Here is the fix list:

The difference is night and day. The DXVK wrapper inside the repack translates DirectX 9 calls to Vulkan, which the 1070 processes incredibly efficiently.
The repack may default to keyboard controls. If using an Xbox or PlayStation controller, check the in-game settings to ensure "Controller" is enabled, as XLiveLess sometimes resets input preferences. GTX 1070 will push hundreds of FPS, breaking
