Conan, watching from afar with a tranquilizer dart and a soccer ball, deduces the killer’s trick (involving fishing line and the masks) and incapacitates the culprit. The immediate danger passes. Score: 7

The episode argues that we cannot erase our ghosts. But we also cannot let them pilot our present.
