CS.RIN.RU is a long-standing community focused on Steam game content sharing and DRM-related discussions. To maintain order, the administration enforces strict behavioral and technical guidelines that all members must follow. II. Core Posting & Behavioral Rules No "Scene" Release Links

: Posting direct links to "scene" releases (files from specific pirate groups) is strictly prohibited; users should seek P2P releases or clean files instead. English & Russian Only

: These are the only officially supported languages. Using other languages or intentional distortion of language is discouraged. No Double Posting

: Users should not post two messages in a row in the same thread. Instead, use the function to add information or "bump" a thread. Search Before Asking

: New members must use the search function (often requiring a minimum of three letters) to see if their question has already been answered before starting a new topic. Legible Formatting

: Posts must be readable. Avoid excessive use of Caps Lock, bold text, or "special effects" like colored fonts. III. Content Sharing Guidelines Clean Steam Files

: The primary focus is sharing "Clean Steam Files"—unmodified game files directly from Steam. Permitted Content : Members may share: Tools to bypass DRM (cracks, emulators like Goldberg). DLC content (soundtracks, guides, artworks). Steam-related software and discussion. Prohibited Content

: Publicly requesting or providing "warez" (pre-cracked commercial software) is generally not allowed in public threads, though rules may differ for private messages. IV. Account Security & Discipline Account Responsibility

: Users are solely responsible for their account's security. Sharing login credentials with third parties or using phishing tools is forbidden. Warning System

: Violations typically result in "warnings." Accumulating three warnings often leads to a temporary or permanent ban. Administrative Authority

: Forum administrators and developers act above the rules and reserve the right to block accounts without explanation if they deem it necessary for the project's health. V. Recommended Etiquette Stay On Topic csrin forum rules full

: Keep discussions relevant to the specific thread. Off-topic questions in wrong sections are frequently penalized.

: When requesting re-uploads for dead links, members are expected to ask courteously. Default Password

: Most files shared on the forum use the standard archive password: search techniques required to find files effectively?

CS.RIN.RU Forum Rules (Full Text)

2. No Flaming. Do not insult, threaten, harass, or personally attack other members. Keep discussions civil and constructive.

3. No Piracy of Steam Itself. Do not post links to cracked versions of the Steam client, SteamCMD, or Steamworks SDK files. The tools on this forum are for learning and game preservation, not for breaking Steam's core authentication.

4. No Malware / Adware. All uploaded files must be clean. No cryptominers, ransomware, trojans, fake keygens, or browser hijackers. If you are unsure, post a VirusTotal link.

5. No Begging. Do not ask for "when will X be cracked", "please crack Y", "can someone upload Z for me", or "I need VIP access". Read existing topics before posting.

6. No Duplicate Topics. Search before posting. If a game already has a thread, post there. Do not create a new thread for a game that already exists.

7. No External Linking Without Explanation. Do not post direct download links to unknown hosts without a description. Links to file hosts that require payment or registration are forbidden. Preferred hosts: pixeldrain, gofile, mediafire (no shortlinks).

8. No Private Servers / MMO Cracks. Discussion of private servers for MMOs (World of Warcraft, Lineage, etc.) is allowed only in the MMO section. No requesting or sharing cracks for games that are fully server-sided (e.g., Diablo 3, Lost Ark). You must register and be logged in to

10. No Account Trading. Do not offer to buy, sell, trade, or give away Steam accounts, CD keys, or gift cards.

11. English Only. Post in English. Non-English posts will be removed without notice. Exceptions: the International Zone (requires password) and specific language subforums.

12. No File Passwords. Do not password-protect archive files unless the password is posted in plain text within the same thread. Passworded files without the password will be deleted.

13. No Stealing / Reposting. If you share a crack or emulator, credit the original author (e.g., "thanks to Mr_X", "based on SSE by atom0s"). Do not claim others' work as your own.

14. No Politics / Religion. The forum is for game cracking, emulation, and preservation. Political or religious debates are not allowed.

15. No Discussion of Other Cracking Groups. Do not start drama about other warez sites (e.g., "Site X is better", "Group Y is dead"). Focus on CS.RIN.RU content.

16. No "Leaving" or "Goodbye" Threads. If you leave, you leave quietly. No dramatic farewell posts.

17. No Advertising. Do not promote your own website, Discord server, YouTube channel, or paid services unless explicitly allowed by an admin.

18. No Tool-Assisted Cheating in Online Games. Discussion of cheat engines, trainers, or memory editors is allowed only for offline/single-player games. Do not post aimbots, wallhacks, or anything that modifies online multiplayer anti-cheat (EAC, BattlEye, VAC, etc.).

19. Respect the Moderators. If a mod closes your thread or issues a warning, do not argue publicly. Use PM (private message) if you have a question.

20. No Linking to Redistributable Installers. Do not post links to standalone installers for DirectX, .NET Framework, VC++ runtimes, etc. Users can get those from Microsoft.

22. No "What is the password?" Posts. If a file has a password, it is always cs.rin.ru (lowercase, without spaces) unless stated otherwise. Asking for the password will result in an instant warning.

23. No Necroposting. Do not reply to threads that have been dead for more than 6 months unless you have new, relevant information (e.g., a new crack for an old game). "Bump" posts are forbidden.

24. One Account Per Person. Multiple accounts (alt accounts, throwaways) are banned on sight. If you lose access to your account, contact an admin via the "Contact Us" link.

25. No Illegal Content (Beyond Game Cracking). Do not post child exploitation, revenge porn, doxxing, or any content that violates international law. Game cracks are a grey area – everything else is not.

26. Do Not Leak Private Steam Depots. If a game uses custom Steam DRM + a private beta branch, do not post the decryption keys or manifest IDs publicly. This can get the forum in legal trouble.

27. No Automated Scripts / Bots. Do not use bots to scrape the forum, auto-download files, or mass-post. The server has limited bandwidth.

28. Signature Rules. Signatures may contain:

29. Reporting Posts. Use the report button (![icon]) for spam, malware, or rule violations. Do not "backseat moderate" by replying "reported" or "mods please close".

30. Final Clause – "Moderator Discretion". The moderators reserve the right to edit, move, close, or delete any thread or post without warning. If you are told to stop doing something, stop. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
