Archicad 26 Change Language 💯

Graphisoft Educational licenses are sometimes region-locked. If you are in Italy with an Italian student license, the License Manager Tool may grey out the "English" option. Workaround: Download the International English trial from Graphisoft’s website and re-activate your student license on top of it. The language restriction usually lifts.

Graphisoft includes a separate “Language Selector” tool with Archicad 26.

When you open ArchiCAD 26 now, the splash screen and the Welcome dialog should immediately appear in your newly selected language. If it does not, proceed to Method 2.

ArchiCAD caches toolbar icons and text. Go to Window > Palettes > Reset Palette Positions or right-click the toolbar and select "Reset Palette to Default." Graphisoft Educational licenses are sometimes region-locked

Some users replace language resource files without full reinstallation. This involves:
