Alcpt 112

The ALCPT is designed to measure English language proficiency for military and government personnel. Form 112 follows the standard ALCPT structure consisting of two main parts: Listening and Reading.

These are not actual official questions, but they replicate the style and difficulty of Form 112:

Listening (script):
“The student pilot completed the pre-flight inspection and then waited for clearance from the tower.” alcpt 112

Question: What did the pilot do first?
A) Waited for clearance
B) Completed the pre-flight inspection ✅
C) Contacted the tower
D) Taxied to the runway

Reading:
The mission was canceled due to low _____ .
A) visibility ✅
B) visible
C) vision
D) visual The ALCPT is designed to measure English language

I strongly recommend System X for three reasons:

In lower forms, listening stimuli are short and direct. On Form 112: Question 15 might say: "The sky is clear

Question 15 might say: "The sky is clear. What is the weather like?"

Some test-takers overthink: "But clear sky doesn't guarantee sunny..." No. On ALCPT 112, clear = sunny.
